about roobarb studio
we’ve always admired the power a space holds over our emotions. from the candlelit kitchen table, to an enormous venue, to a special spot in nature - our peace, connectivity to loved ones, and happiness are deeply shaped by our surroundings.
roobarb is here to channel this power. through elevated yet eclectic arrangements and curated community events, the goal is to foster organic warmth & inspiration amongst the community.
we source our flowers from various wholesale vendors and local farmers, and enjoy good tunes and good stories while we work at our studio tucked in venice beach.
while the studio is generally closed to the public as we design for offsite flower events, we often open our doors to host various community events. these include workshops, dinners, wine nights, paint nights, and much more.

Studio Dinner: Italian Feast
Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Italian culture as we present a curated selection of four dishes paired with 4 wines. Each course is designed to transport you to the picturesque landscapes of Italy, offering a genuine taste of home and festive traditions.

You will be guided on everything from how to shop and care for flowers, to how to set up your vase, and to how to arrange the perfect simple yet sculptural flower arrangement.

Sip & Play - The Casual Creative
Join us for a whimsical afternoon of drawing in a sun filled floral studio. The ever so talented Emma from Roobarb will be curating and styling a floral still life set-up. We will sit at long communal tables sipping wine, listening to music chatting and drawing.
Roo Stu After Hours : a dinner party!
Join us for an elevated italian-californian 5-course tasting menu prepared by chef Matteo of Michelin-starred Osteria Gucci.

Cobi Marsh of Cobi’s is coming to the studio to prepare a meal for us!
Flower Design Workshop
Join us as we guide you through the steps to build your own flower arrangement. We’ll start with suggested flower shopping practices, sustainable mechanic techniques, and free yet intentional design practices.
Light refreshments will be served.
Dinner at the Studio
Join us for dinner at the flower studio with a 3-course meal prepared by our favorite, Chef Samantha Quintero.
Expect a cocktail hour from 6:30-7pm, with guests seated around 7pm to begin dinner.

Live Drawing Night
An evening of mingling, indulging, and creating. Join us on this lovely Wednesday in Venice to explore decadent wines, vibey music, and life drawing skills you never thought you had.
This will be a cozy evening emphasizing on the festive feelings of Autumn. Please bear in mind that we will be keeping the space warm for our model, and providing a combination of chair and floor seating, so dress accordingly for temperature and comfort.
All phones will be collected and kept safely away for the duration of the party.
